On 25-26 April 2018, the Administrative Commission of Tianjin Dongjiang Free Trade Port Zone, together with Financial News and the Baltic and International Maritime Conference will jointly hold the 4th China Maritime Finance (DFTP) Summit in Tianjin.
The world economy is developing against the repeatedly-fluctuating bulk trade, oil price, and US dollar index. As the 2017 annual report of China’s listed shipping enterprises has firstly reported surpluses instead of deficits, and the oil price broke through USD 70 at the beginning of 2018, financial shipowners have grown into a force to be reckoned with, indicating that the market of ships and maritime work is about to recover. By adhering to exploring the development mode of maritime finance innovation, actively focusing on the relevant policy research, and continuously improving various regional functions, Dongjiang Free Trade Port in Tianjin Pilot Free Trade Zone has constant innovated to improve the development of China’s maritime financial industry. By February 2018, Dongjiang Free Trade Port has witnessed the leasing of 140 international shipping vessels and 12 offshore platforms, forming a substantial industry cluster effect. How to enhance the close combination of maritime and financial issues in the New Normal economy? How to actively distribute maritime capital and grasp the market before the strong cycle of shipping starts? Under the Belt and Road initiative, how does China’s maritime finance accelerate the strategy of internationalization? How do China’s shipping enterprises broaden financing channels and speed up the transformation and upgrade? What should China’s maritime finance do to avoid homogeneous competition and realize diversity development? To deeply explore the above-stated issues, we sincerely invite industry leaders and experts to attend the summit and share insights.
With the theme of “Order Rebuilding and Rebalancing: New Era of China Maritime Finance”, the Summit will continue to uphold the mission of building the professional and international communication platform and facilitate the discussions on such hot topics as “innovation and exploration of maritime finance”, “transformation and development of financial shipowners”, “supply chain finance of port ”, “ market of Cruises, wind power offshore and LNG market”, “Transformation and Upgrading by Offshore Manufacturers ”, “shipping order rebuilding and shipping market rebalancing ”etc. For in-depth discussion in specific professional fields and experience sharing, the Submit will be held with themed events like Maritime Legislation Seminar and China Cruise Economy Sub-forum, which will support China maritime finance to seize the opportunity to achieve leap-forward development.
Therefore, we sincerely invite leading comrades at all levels who care about the development of China’s maritime finance industry and elites and experts in this industry to this upcoming event in Tianjin.
We are looking forward to your participation!
